Promet Luzon Get Together
The Promet team in Luzon consisting mainly of members from Cavite & Makati Eversun Branches decided to spend more time together by organizing a supposed lunch/dinner-turned-swimming get together. Team Members agreed to have it that way so we can maximize both the allowance and the time we could all spent together since not all members are able to communicate and know each other very well.
We found a resort somewhere in Dasmariñas, Cavite named Volet’s Resort, last Saturday, June 16, 2007. Volet’s Resort literally is a “Resort in the City”. Along the highway of Dasmariñas is the location of the place. Just few feet away from the road is the entrance of the resort and few stairs down are the pools already consisting of adult, kiddie and a wave pool, yes, waves in the pool.
Since it’s kinda late for swimming season, the place is not that crowded. Guests have enough room to swim and wander around.
Food consists of spaghetti (special request by Eweng), chicken & pork barbecue, pork adobo, fried chicken, some chichiria (finger foods, chips), but no “balut” this time (balut is exclusive to non-Filipino Promet people only 
).
After lunch, the activities took place. After name introductions of members, we started our get-to-know-each-other games. Some ice breaker games & a team building activity were done where we discovered facts, both intriguing & amazing, about each other. The team building went fine and everybody participated well which showed everyone can be a good leader and member.
After the ice breaker games and the team building activity, we had had our small talk on work related issues, problems, some comments & suggestions. Some questions of the new members were also discussed regarding policies, projects, etc.
After the meeting, everyone then spend the time left on the pool, where everybody enjoyed the cool water, the long slides, and the waves from the almost only 3 feet wave pool.The day ended well for everyone and looking forward to the next get together.
