Impressive Cyrose and Donna

Last July 31st, 2 Promet agents stood out.

First, with Cyrose. She was lonely because a lot of the agents around her has resigned and she is the only one left on that row. She is sad because she had no one to talk to. The feeling when everyone around you seems to leave; Somehow, it makes you want to leave as well. With this, only the loyal enough for the company remains. Cyrose, gave her reason why she stayed, and it is because “Promet had taught her everything she knows now when it comes to web developing,” and she heart fully thanks Promet for that. Currently, there are a lot of web based companies sprouting in Davao, Philippines that has competitive salary. That is the reason why a lot of agents there are resigning.

Secondly, Donnabel. She was the one who lead the new QA Philippine agents into understanding the functionalities of the MP3.1 scenarios. She explained each step very carefully and to the best she could. All of the new QA agents were able to learn from her that day. She patiently answered all the questions. For 4 hours, she keeps on typing to share her knowledge. Everyone was impressed on the way Donna had explained things. It was easy for new agents to learn those functionalities base on how she explains it. She also gave the background, to understand it better.

To match our Promet Source website, I have created a theme for our Kudos blog. The theme was approved by Andy and has been uploaded by Gerold.

Also, I organized the posts to the categories they should belong.

I hope everyone likes the new look!

Encountered problem with installing TinyMCE on Drupal?

Andy told me yesterday to post the problem that I have encountered on installing and making TinyMCE editor on Drupal. He thought maybe you would encounter the same problem in the future.

Task:
to install TinyMCE editor on Drupal

Problem Encountered:
TinyMCE does not reflect the font styles you made using the editor when published. But it is seen on the editor when checked.

Solution:
(This is if you are certainly sure that you have created a profile for the editor and have set the configurations for that profile.)
Check the css used, because it might be calling some classes to set the style and simply remove it. So even if you try and try to change the color, face, size or whatever on the editor, still, you can’t see it being published.

Misc:
I used Bluemarine’s file for making the template.

If you think of the problem, you might be saying that’s so easy to solve man. But we must admit, it’s not that easy to trace line per line to see what went wrong. In my case, I used firebug. So If you haven’t installed it yet on your FireFox, better get one now.

1. Submit your feeds to RSS feeds directory. Here are a few list:

Know where the feed of your site is locate: www.FeedBurner.com

2. Every time you update the content of your site, Ping it.

3. Submit every page of your blog to Social Bookmarking Sites. xanersoft has a compilation of bookmarking sites.

4. Comment on other blogs. Remember to use your keyword and link it to your site when commenting. Make informational not spam comments.

5. Forum Posting

· Register to forums and communities that are related to your site and industry. You can also try Yahoo Answers. You can put in the “source area” your site.

· See to it that this forum accepts signature.

· Use the site you are promoting as a signature.

· When posting, you need to make your keywords anchor of link to your site.

· Do not advertise your site in the forum!

· Make informational and relevant posts.

6. Go to Squidoo and set up a free lens on a topic. When you make your lenses, add as many keywords (tags) as you can that are related to your topic to bring in more traffic. Treat it like blog and update it daily.

7. Submit a story to Digg, Netscape and AssociatedContent.
